Central Plains Water Limited Share Trading

This website has been established to assist:

• shareholders in Central Plains Water Limited (CPWL) to sell their ordinary shares in CPWL ("Shares")
• shareholders and non-shareholders to buy Shares from shareholders

The CPWL scheme

Shares give shareholders the right to take water from CPWL's proposed water enhancement scheme subject to entering into a water use agreement with CPWL. For more information about the scheme, visit the CPWL website.

Farmers in the distribution area who wish to participate in the scheme or who require more water rights will want to trade with shareholders who no longer require their Shares.

Using this website

You must be a registeed user to use this site. After you have registered you must login to view and create share sale listings.

Shares wanted or for sale can be viewed on the Shares for Sale page, and you can post your own listing by following the instructions set out on that page.

This website is a notice facility only, not a trading or auction site. To complete a trade in Shares you must contact the person who has posted the listing and deal with that person directly.

How to trade Shares

To complete a trade, the buyer and seller will need to contact each other, arrange payment and complete a Share Transfer Form, which can be downloaded here. All share transfers are subject to board approval. The buyer will need to submit the completed Share Transfer Form for Board approval to cbooth@cpwl.co.nz.
